20# steel plate processing service and carbon content

20# steel plate: the average carbon content is 0.17-0.23%, and the carbon content in this material is about 0.2%. 20# steel plate heat treatment specification: normalizing, 910, air cooling. 20# steel executive standard: the executive standard is GB/T711/WTB.

Heat treatment of 20# steel plate and quenching hardness of 20# steel: As for 20 steel plate, it is possible to achieve ordinary quenching hardness of 30-35HRC. Only due to the higher heating temperature, the quenching deformation is larger.

The 20# steel plate workpiece is heat treated and quenched as a whole after rough machining (920 quenched salt water), and then finished. Since the hardness requires 30-35HRC, it should be able to be processed in all processes.
