20CrMo steel plate specification

20CrMo steel plate has high hardenability, no temper brittleness, good weldability, little tendency of forming cold crack, good machinability and cold strain plasticity.

Mechanical properties of 20CrMo steel plate: the blank size of the sample is 15 mm. Tensile strength 0, >885 MPa; yield strength R, 2685 MPa; elongation 6, >12%; reduction of area >50%; impact energy a, >78j; impact toughness value a, >98 J /cm2; hardness <197 Hb, generally used in tempering or carburizing and quenching state, 20CrMo steel plate is used to manufacture high-pressure pipes, various fasteners and high-grade carburized parts, such as gears, shafts, fasteners, flanges, nuts, etc., which work in non corrosive medium and medium with working temperature lower than 250 ℃ and containing nitrogen hydrogen mixture.

The executive standard of 20CrMo steel plate is GB/T 3077-1999, corresponding to foreign standards: JSG4053: 2003; ASTM A29M: 2005; ISO 683-18:1996.
Chemical composition of 20CrMo steel plate (mass fraction,%): C content 0.17-0.24; Si 0.17-0.37; Mn 0.40-0.70; s < 0.035; P < 0.035; Cr 0.80-1.10; Mo 0.15-0.25; Ni 0.25; Cu < 0.3.

20CrMo steel plate heat treatment: quenching 880 ℃, water cooling, oil cooling; tempering 500 ℃, water cooling, oil cooling, low temperature tempering 150-200 ℃, hardness 32-33hrc. Delivery state of 20CrMo steel plate: delivered in heat treatment (normalizing, annealing or high temperature tempering) or non heat treatment state.
