DIN 17100 ST 37-2 steel plate material

DIN 17100 ST 37-2 steel plate is a kind of low carbon steel, carbon content of 0.20%, similar to S235JIR or Q235, it is not as strong as normal ASTM A36, but also widely used in daily and structural applications with low strength requirements. Used in construction and underground engineering.

DIN 17100 ST 37-2 steel plate (1.0037 material) is a non-alloy structural steel conforming to DIN 17100:1980 and has been abandoned since 2004. According to the German standard DIN 17100, it is divided into ST37-2, UST37-2, RST37-2 and ST37-3.

The new name of DIN17100 ST37-2 steel plate is S235IR (1.0038), the new standard is EN 10025-2:20042, the implementation standard of ST37-2 steel plate: DIN171003, the delivery status of ST37-2 steel plate: hot rolled, probe or normalizing.
