S460Q steel plate is a quenched and tempered high-strength steel plate, the series grades are S460Q, S460QL, S460QL1. Implementing the European standard EN10025-6 standard, it is a European standard low-carbon non-alloy structural steel plate.
In order to ensure the performance of this type of steel plate, the carbon content is below 0.2%.
S460Q, S460QL, S460QL1 steel plates,
where S means structural steel,
Q means the impact temperature of the steel plate is -20°C,
QL means the impact temperature of the steel plate is -50°C,
QL1 means that the impact temperature of the steel plate is -60°C,
and 460 means that the thickness is £ 50mm.
Specify the minimum yield strength value S460Q, S460QL, S460QL1 steel plate delivery conditions: quenching + tempering (Q). NOTE: Direct quenching and then tempering after hot rolling is considered equal to conventional quenching and tempering.
