Food cans made of green galvanized sheet

According to reports, Russell Stein, a subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp, together with Swiss Hoffmann and Ricola, jointly launched the world's first food can made of green galvanized sheet.

 

During the development of the food can, Thyssen was responsible for supplying green galvanized sheets for packaging, Hoffmann used solar energy to print iron cans, and Ricola used renewable energy to produce and fill herbal fillings.

It is reported that Thyssen uses direct reduced iron to produce raw materials for tinplate, which greatly reduces the intensity of carbon dioxide emissions produced by the production of tinplate. Hoffmann produces high-quality metal and plastic packaging, with an annual production capacity of 400 million cans, and the company's production of iron-printed cans in Switzerland is powered entirely by renewable energy.
