Delivery status of 20Cr steel plate: delivered in heat treatment (normalizing, annealing or high temperature tempering) or without heat treatment, and the delivery status shall be indicated in the contract.

20Cr steel plate is mostly used for manufacturing carburized parts (oil quenching) with high requirements for core strength, surface wear, cross-section less than 30mm or complex shape and small load (oil quenching), such as machine tool gearbox gear, gear shaft, cam, worm, piston pin, claw clutch, etc.;

For parts with small heat treatment deformation and high wear resistance, high-frequency surface quenching should be conducted after carburizing, such as modulus less than 3 gear, shaft, spline shaft, etc.

20Cr steel plate can also be used in quenching and tempering state to manufacture parts with high working speed and medium impact load. 20Cr steel plate can also be used as low carbon martensite quenching steel, which further increases the yield strength and tensile strength of 20Cr steel plate (about 1.5-1.7 times).
