Stainless Steel Grinding

Stainless steel is generally used:

Grinding wheel, abrasive belt and other wheel grinding forms.

The vibration grinding form of the drum equipped with abrasive grains such as grinding stones. Lathe direct machining or surface grinding.

For the standard plane or plate, the grinding wheel and belt wheel grinding method are commonly used, which is more common in the hardware industry;
For special-shaped curved surfaces, the surface lines are extremely complex, and the drum grinding method is used;<

For the plane and arc-shaped products of electronic components, the lathe is used for direct processing or plane grinding.

For the selection of grinding materials, the basic principle is the same, to ensure the flatness and smoothness of the stainless steel processing. All grinding methods use abrasives to contact stainless steel under the action of media to generate grinding force, so as to achieve surface removal. Under this principle, to ensure that the abrasive has a strong grinding force, the abrasive with extremely high hardness and grinding force such as brown corundum is generally used.

Precautions for stainless steel grinding:
Ensure that the abrasive has extremely high hardness and strong grinding force.
Ensure that the abrasive and the grinding medium have strong adhesion. In the previous treatment process, there was insufficient adhesion of the abrasive, which caused the abrasive particles to remain in the grinding scratches to form gaps, and the entry of oxygen caused oxidation to form local blackening Yellowing and subsequent formation of corrosion.

The particle size of the abrasive should be uniform to avoid uneven surface roughness after grinding, which will affect the subsequent finer processing.<
