Strength characteristics of 35CrMo alloy structural steel

35CrMo alloy structural steel has very high static strength, impact toughness and high fatigue limit. Its hardenability is higher than 40Cr. Under high temperature, 35CrMo alloy structural steel has high creep strength and endurance strength. Its long-term working temperature can reach 500℃;

35CrMo alloy structural steel has medium plasticity and poor weldability during cold deformation. From low temperature to -110℃, 35CrMo alloy structural steel has high static strength, impact toughness, high fatigue strength, good hardenability, no overheating tendency, small quenching deformation, acceptable plasticity during cold deformation, medium machinability, but the first kind of temper brittleness and poor weldability.

35CrMo alloy structural steel shall be preheated to 150-400℃ before welding, and post welding heat treatment shall be carried out to eliminate stress. 35CrMo alloy structural steel is generally used after quenching and tempering, and it can also be used after high and medium frequency surface quenching or quenching and low and medium temperature tempering.

BBN production 35CrMo alloy structural steel executive standard: GB / T 11251-2009, delivery status: normalizing or normalizing + tempering, tempering.
