2. Appropriately reduce the cutting speed of ASTM A283 steel plate, but its reliability is not as good as preheating. It is recommended to preheat the cutting belt with a flame gun for several passes before cutting. The preheating temperature is preferably about 180℃.
3. Regardless of whether preheating the parts of ASTM A283 steel plate, the slow cooling after cutting of ASTM A283 steel plate will effectively reduce the risk of cutting cracks. If the warm parts are stacked after cutting and covered with an insulating blanket, slow cooling can also be achieved, which requires cooling to room temperature.
