A633GrD steel plate is American standard low alloy steel, which is produced according to ASTM A633/A633M standard. The delivery state of A633GrD steel plate is hot rolling, and the production thickness is between 8mm-150mm. The steelmaking method adopts oxygen converter or electric furnace refining, which can be freely selected.
A633GrD steel plate belongs to killed steel. Compared with boiling steel, the killed steel cannot have bubbles and sand holes. A633GrD steel plate has high yield strength and toughness, and also has certain corrosion resistance and fatigue resistance. It is often used in hydraulic machinery, construction machinery, mining machinery, or for structural welding.
A633GrD steel plate needs to provide the thickness, width and length of the steel plate for fixed rolling, and the requirements for ultrasonic flaw detection and heat treatment of the steel plate need to be clarified. Pretreatment, ultrasonic flaw detection shall be carried out in accordance with ASME-A578 flaw detection standard for flaw detection of grades A, B, and C.
