NM500 abrasion resistant steel plate uses high temperature plasma cutting technology

The cutting technology of NM500 abrasion resistant steel plate has been greatly improved. In the past, cold-rolled cutting was used for NM500 abrasion resistant steel plate. However, this cutting technology is not conducive to the maintenance of NM500 abrasion resistant steel plate to a certain extent.

The thickness and hardness of the grinding plate have an influence, because the cold-rolled cutting has an influence on the physical properties of the NM500 abrasion resistant steel plate.

So now our NM500 abrasion resistant steel plate adopts high temperature plasma cutting technology. This cutting technology has relatively little effect on the physical and chemical properties of NM500 abrasion resistant steel plate.

Plasma cutting is recommended for cutting NM500 abrasion resistant steel plate. Plasma cutting is divided into underwater plasma and air plasma cutting. When using underwater plasma cutting, the plasma gas can generate thousands of degrees of high temperature. The high manganese steel plate is quickly melted at the cut, and oxidation is avoided due to the water barrier.

The water cools the steel plate in time to prevent the precipitation of carbides and make the cutting surface of the NM500 abrasion resistant steel plate is smooth and flat, there is no heat-affected zone, and the cutting quality is the best. It is the first choice for cutting high manganese steel.
