Q690E steel plate surface quality standard

Cracks, bubbles, folds and inclusions are not allowed on the surface of Q690E steel plate, and Q690E steel plate must not have delamination. For the above-mentioned defects, it is allowed to clean up.

The cleaning depth shall be calculated from the actual size of the Q690E steel plate and shall not exceed half of the Q690E steel plate thickness tolerance. The minimum thickness of the Q690E steel plate shall be ensured. The defect cleaning place shall be smooth and without edges and corners.

Other defects are allowed, but the depth shall not exceed half of the allowable thickness tolerance from the actual size of the Q690E steel plate, and the thickness of the defect shall not exceed the minimum allowable thickness of the Q690E steel plate.
