The Zhongtian Green Quality Steel Project is a key demonstration project in Jiangsu Province. At present, the main construction of the wharf project, which is the "supply station" of the project, has been completed, providing a faster and more sufficient supply of "grain and grass" for the construction and production of the entire green high-quality steel project.
Under the epidemic situation, Zhongtian Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. made both efforts in epidemic prevention and construction, and closed-loop management did not stop production.
To ensure that the project construction and production materials are more adequately guaranteed and the product transportation is more convenient, Zhongtian Iron and Steel Group (Nantong) Co., Ltd. has a total investment of nearly 2.5 billion yuan, and plans to build the seaport and inland river wharf projects for the logistics and transportation supporting construction of the Zhongtian Nantong High-quality Steel Base. The high-quality steel base produces raw and auxiliary materials, finished product shipping and loading and unloading business, as well as bulk and general cargo loading and unloading business for inland waterway ships.
In less than a year, eight 50,000-ton general-purpose berths have been built in the harbor terminal, and the construction of 22 thousand-ton loading and unloading berths and 8 thousand-ton waiting berths at the inland river terminal is coming to an end.
The terminal construction adheres to the company's strategic positioning of building a "smart, green, environmentally friendly and efficient" modern steel city, and has installed a series of "intelligent" and "green" supporting facilities.
At present, ships have docked at the harbor terminal to provide the ore raw materials required for the production of the project, so that the construction of the Zhongtian Green High-quality Steel Project can move the "forces and horses" and "grain and grass" enough.
In the future, centering on the group's construction goals of "five modernizations and five first-class", we will do a good job in service guarantee, and benchmark the port and terminal enterprises of the same type to improve the overall management level and economic benefits of the terminal.
