The carbon content of 304L stainless steel plate is much smaller than that of 304. 304 stainless steel plate is better than 304 stainless steel plate in terms of pitting corrosion resistance on welding points or other treated places. 304L stainless steel plate is more corrosion resistant, and 304L stainless steel plate contains less carbon.
304 stainless steel plate is widely used and has good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, low temperature strength and mechanical properties. 304 stainless steel plate has good thermal workability such as stamping and bending, and has no heat treatment hardening phenomenon.
After welding or stress relief, 304L stainless steel plate has excellent resistance to grain boundary corrosion; without heat treatment, 304L stainless steel plate can also maintain good corrosion resistance, and the service temperature is -196°C-800°C.
