What is the function of Q890D steel plate flaw detection

Flaw detection is used to detect cracks or defects inside metallic materials or components. Commonly used flaw detection methods include X-ray flaw detection, ultrasonic flaw detection, magnetic particle flaw detection, penetrant flaw detection, eddy current flaw detection, γ-ray flaw detection, fluorescent flaw detection, coloring flaw detection and other methods.

Physical testing is non-destructive testing without chemical changes.
Non-destructive testing is a test method to check the surface and internal quality of the inspected part without damaging the working state of the workpiece or raw materials.

The heat treatment shall be annealing, normalizing and tempering, or when agreed by the purchaser, accelerated cooling from the austenitizing temperature by air blast or liquid quenching, followed by tempering. The lower limit of tempering temperature is 675°C.

When the heat treatment method is not specified, the Q890D steel plate shall be delivered in the state of stress relief treatment or annealing.
