00Cr17Ni14Mo2 is an ultra-low carbon austenitic stainless steel

00Cr17Ni14Mo2 is an ultra-low carbon austenitic stainless steel with excellent intergranular corrosion resistance compared to 0Cr17Ni12Mo2. It has excellent corrosion resistance to sulfite, sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, chlorine salt, halogen, sulfite and other media have good corrosion resistance. In addition, the stainless steel has good welding performance, no knife edge corrosion tendency after welding, and is suitable for multi-layer welding.

The main chemical components of GB4237/4238 00Cr17Ni14Mo2 include chromium (Cr), nickel (Ni), molybdenum (Mo), silicon (Si), phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S). The specific content range is roughly: chromium (Cr) 17.0%~19.0%, nickel (Ni) 8.0%~10.0%, molybdenum (Mo) 2%~3%, silicon (Si) ≤1.00%, phosphorus (P) ≤0.20%, sulfur (S) ≤0.15%. In addition, it also contains a small amount of selenium (Se), the content is between 0.15% and 0.35%. The proportions of these elements are precisely controlled to achieve specific performance requirements.

GB4237/4238 00Cr17Ni14Mo2 stainless steel is generally delivered in heat treatment state. The specific type of heat treatment will be specified in the contract, if it is not specified in the contract, then the delivery will usually be carried out in non-heat treatment conditions.

00Cr17Ni14Mo2 stainless steel has a wide range of applications. Its excellent corrosion resistance makes it widely used in chemical industry. At the same time, the material is also suitable for the food industry and surgical equipment and other fields. In the pipeline, chemical industry and other fields, it can also play an excellent performance.
