The chemical composition of S700MC mainly includes: Carbon C (≤0.120), Silicon Si (≤0.600), Manganese Mn (≤2.100), Phosphorus P (≤0.025), sulfur S (≤0.015), Molybdenum Mo (≤0.700), Copper Cu (≤0.500), titanium Ti (≤0.220), vanadium V (≤0.200), niobium Nb (≤0.090) and boron B (≤ 0.0050).

 

Mechanical properties of S700MC steel plate:

 

Tensile strength: minimum about 700 MPa.

 

Yield strength: minimum about 650 MPa.

 

Elongation: minimum about 10%.

 

Fracture toughness (Charpy V-notch) : The minimum value is usually 20 J.
