S355JR is one of the Charpy designations that belongs to structural grade S355 (S). The JR designation confirms that the steel has been subjected to Chary V-Notch longitudinal impact tests at 27J (joules) at room temperature. Other Charpy designations include S355JO, S355J2 y S355K2.
