JIS G4304/4312 SUS 430 Stainless steel

JIS G4304/4312 SUS 430 Stainless steel is a ferritic stainless steel, because its thermal conductivity is superior to austenite, thermal expansion coefficient is less than austenite, and has good heat resistance fatigue characteristics and is widely favored.

Features of JIS G4304/4312 SUS 430 Stainless steel:

Corrosion resistance: 430 stainless steel shows good corrosion resistance, especially in some corrosive environments, such as chemical, petroleum and so on.

Aesthetics: After different treatment states, the surface can present a variety of gloss and texture, from fog surface to high reflectivity mirror effect, providing a rich choice for various applications.

Economy: Because 430 stainless steel contains less nickel, its price is more affordable than other stainless steel materials, so it has become the preferred alternative to 304 stainless steel in many fields of use.

Machining performance: The mechanical properties of the weld parts are good, which makes it excellent in various processing and manufacturing processes.

The main chemical components of JIS G4304/4312 SUS 430 stainless steel include: Carbon (C) is less than or equal to 0.12%, silicon (Si) is less than or equal to 1.00%, manganese (Mn) is less than or equal to 1.00%, phosphorus (P) is less than or equal to 0.040%, sulfur (S) is less than or equal to 0.030%, chromium (Cr) is between 16.00 and 18.00%, nickel (Ni) is less than or equal to 0.60%. Among them, chromium is its main alloying element, which provides the main corrosion resistance of stainless steel.

JIS G4304/4312 SUS 430 Stainless steel has been widely used in many fields because of its excellent performance and reasonable price. For example, in the kitchen utensils, it is used to make cookware, tableware, etc., which is both corrosion resistant and beautiful. In the field of architectural decoration, it can be made into a variety of stainless steel decorative panels, lines, etc., for the interior and exterior walls of buildings, ceilings and elevators. In addition, it also plays an important role in chemical equipment and medical devices due to its excellent corrosion resistance and biocompatibility.
