42CrMo4 is a European standard high-strength alloy structural steel, also known as DIN 1.7225 steel.

42CrMo4 steel plate features:

 

High strength: 42CrMo4 alloy steel after quenching and tempering treatment, has a high yield strength and tensile strength, can withstand greater pressure and load.

 

Good toughness: 42CrMo4 alloy steel toughness is better, not easy to crack, can adapt to some impact and vibration of the working environment.

 

Good wear resistance: The alloying elements contained in 42CrMo4 alloy steel can form some carbides, improve the wear resistance of steel, and are often used to manufacture some wear-resistant parts that need to be used for a long time.

 

The chemical composition of 42CrMo4 includes carbon (C), silicon (Si), sulfur (S), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P), chromium (Cr), and molybdenum (Mo). Among them, the carbon content is between 0.38 and 0.45%, the silicon content is not more than 0.40%, the allowable residual content of sulfur and phosphorus is not more than 0.035%, the chromium content is between 0.90 and 1.20%, and the molybdenum content is between 0.15 and 0.30%.
