The inspection and acceptance of DIN17100 St52-3 steel plate is the responsibility of the supplier’s technical quality supervision department, and the purchaser has the right to inspect and accept according to any inspection items specified in this standard or contract.
DIN17100 St52-3 steel plate shall be accepted in batches and consist of steel plates with the same heat number, the same brand, the same yield strength rating, the same heat treatment system, and the thickness not exceeding 5mm. The weight of each batch of DIN17100 St52-3 steel plate shall not exceed 60T.
When the Charpy pendulum impact test result of DIN17100 St52-3 steel plate does not meet the requirements, another set of three samples should be taken from the same batch of DIN17100 St52-3 steel plate for testing. The average value of the six samples before and after should not be lower than the specified value. Two DIN17100 St52-3 steel plate samples are allowed to be lower than the specified value, but only one sample is allowed to be less than 70% of the specified value.
