NM400 is an abrasion resistant plate with a hardness of 400 HBW, intended for applications where demands are imposed on abrasion resistance in combination with good cold bending properties. NM400 offers very good weldability.
With high mechanical strength, NM400 is 3 times to 5 times more than common low-alloy steel plates which can significantly improve surface hardness, usually achieved 360 ~ 450HB.
