EN10025 S235J2 fully killed normalized or controlled rolled steel plates/sheets

EN10025 S235J2 steel plates/sheets are low carbon, high tensile strength structural steel plates/sheets which can be readily welded to other weldable steel. With its low carbon equivalent, EN10025 S235J2 steel plates/sheets possess good cold-forming properties. EN10025 S235J2 steel plates/sheets are produced by fully killed steel process and supplied in normalized or controlled rolled condition.

S235J2 is a grade under the Europe standard 10025. In the brand of S235JR, S is the symbol for Structural Steel and J2 for -20 temperature impact test, and a minimum yield strength of 235 N/mm²which can be widely used in  shipping building, engineer construction, mechanical manufacturing, the size of alloy steel sheet can be made according to clients’ requirements.

S235 material can be supplied in S275JR, S275J0, S235J2. EN10025 S235J2 can be used in lower temperature. The impact test is under -20 degree. The verification of the impact energy velue should be carried out in accordance with EN 10025-1.If agreed at the time of the order products of qualities J2 or K2 shall comply with one of the requirements of EN10164.
