ASTM B443 N06625 Characteristics and applications of nickel-based alloys

ASTM B443 N06625 is a Ni-Cr-based solid solution strengthened deformation superalloy.

ASTM B443 N06625 Features:

It has good corrosion and oxidation resistance and performs well from low to high temperatures of 980°C.

All kinds of corrosive media in oxidation and reduction environments have very strong corrosion resistance.

Excellent resistance to point corrosion and crevice corrosion without stress corrosion cracking due to chloride.

Excellent resistance to inorganic acid corrosion, such as nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and mixed acid of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid, etc.

It has good workability and weldability, no sensitivity to cracking after welding.

ASTM B443 N06625 Performance:

Mechanical properties: tensile strength σb≥758Mpa, yield strength σb≥379Mpa, elongation δ≥30%, hardness HB150-220.

It has the ability to resist stress corrosion in salt spray atmosphere.

The metallographic structure is face-centered cubic lattice structure.

ASTM B443 N06625 Application Status:

It is widely used in the manufacture of aerospace engine components, aerospace structural components and chemical equipment.

It is widely used in parts of organic chemical processes containing chlorides, especially where acidic chloride catalysts are used.

Digesters and bleaching tanks for the pulp and paper industry.

It is used in absorption tower, reheater, flue gas inlet baffle, fan (wet), agitator, baffle and flue in flue gas desulfurization system.

For the manufacture of equipment and parts for use in acidic gas environments.
