ASTM B168 800H Nickel-based superalloy.

ASTM B168 800H is a nickel-based superalloy manufactured according to ASTM B168 standards. It has excellent corrosion resistance, especially resistance to oxidizing environments, as well as excellent high-temperature strength and stability. This alloy has a wide range of applications in petroleum, chemical, power and aerospace.

The main chemical composition of ASTM B168 800H includes nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), iron (Fe) and molybdenum (Mo), in addition to small amounts of titanium (Ti), aluminum (Al), niobium (Nb) and other elements. The proportion and content of these elements have an important effect on the properties of the alloy. The specific chemical composition range is as follows:

Nickel (Ni) : 38%~46%

Chromium (Cr) : 19%~23%

Iron (Fe) : The maximum content is usually 1%

Molybdenum (Mo) : 2%~3%

Titanium (Ti) : 0.6%~1.2%

Aluminum (Al) : 0.2%~0.8%

Niobium (Nb) : 1%~2%

These elements together give the alloy good corrosion resistance, high temperature strength and oxidation resistance.

ASTM B168 800H alloy Features:

Excellent corrosion resistance: 800H alloy exhibits excellent corrosion resistance in both oxidation and reduction environments and is suitable for a variety of corrosive media.

High temperature strength and stability: The alloy can maintain high strength and stability at high temperatures, suitable for high temperature working environment.

Good processability: 800H alloy can be processed and formed through a variety of processes to facilitate the manufacture of parts of various shapes and sizes.

ASTM B168 800H alloys are typically delivered in the form of bars, sheets, tubes, etc. At the time of delivery, the alloy usually undergoes the necessary heat treatment to ensure that it achieves the desired mechanical and chemical properties. The specific delivery status can be customized according to the customer's needs and order requirements.
